Flood First Aid may receive payment when you call a tracked telephone number on this site or submit a contact request that is passed to a service provider. Payment may come directly from the provider or from an advertising network that represents providers. Some listings may in future be paid placements; where that is the case the listing will be labelled as such.
What compensation affects
Compensation can affect which providers are available to be matched and the order in which providers appear where more than one covers an area. Providers who do not participate commercially may not appear at all, which means this directory is not a complete list of every company operating in a given town.
What compensation does not affect
It does not affect the safety guidance on this site. It does not affect the output of the diagnostic tool, which runs on a published decision table. It does not cause us to recommend a service you do not need, to describe a provider as verified when it is not, or to claim coverage that does not exist. We do not accept payment to change editorial content.
Cost to you
Using this site, the diagnostic tool and any resulting match is free to you. Any work performed by a provider is a separate matter between you and that provider, on terms you agree directly with them. We are not a party to that agreement.
